David has come to NBC after nearly thirty years of teaching Religious Education and Latin in an independent school in Newcastle-under-Lyme.   He was Secretary and Deacon in the Newcastle Baptist Church.

He is a BU accredited preacher and has acted as Moderator of three churches in the Potteries.   David is at present the Co-ordinator for the Staffordshire Group of Baptist Churches in HEBA.

He believes strongly in encouraging smaller churches and in helping new Christians to grow in their Christian faith and experience.   He is excited about the possibilities of churches exploring issues through the Community Learning Network and of preachers being helped through the new access courses like 'Getting Ready for Sunday'.
