Preparing for Ministry at NBC

From our base in Manchester, we continue to train women and men for accredited ministry in the Baptist Union of Great Britain.
Ministerial training at NBC is made up of the following core elements

Academic Learning…

…within the ecumenical Partnership for Theological Education at Luther King House. You will study for a University of Manchester degree at BA, MA or research level on a full-time or part-time basis.  You will be taught by NBC staff and staff from other Colleges in the Partnership.

Church Placement…

…usually within a Baptist church where you will gain extensive experience and the necessary skills to prepare you for your future ministry. Different placement models are available.

Personal, Spiritual and Professional Development…

…the College will provide you with strong support structures and many other learning opportunities to ensure that your relationships with God and with others grow through the training process.
Training is available on a full-time (up to 4 years) and part-time (up to 6 years) basis.
